Natural Face Products| Indie Lee & Andalou

The weather here in Alabama is finally offering hope of spring and my seedlings I planted a week ago have started sprouting up! In celebration of spring, I’m rounding up my favorite products that got me through the dry winter months.

The products that I’m sharing with you are products I never would have thought of trying before I won them in a giveaway(hosted by the beautiful Courtney Toliver– check out her blog for tons of great skincare tips!). I have spent thousands by now on products made for acne prone/dry/oily/combo skin and with no results had decided to resort to basically “washing” my face with a wet washcloth everyday. No face washes or creams. Everything made my face feel raw and look red. I can tell you after months of using these products that I wish I had looked into natural skincare long ago! No redness after using the cleanser and no greasy skin after using the cream. I can tell my skin loves it!

Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser – This cleanser has a very light fragrance. You don’t use much, just one pump each time you wash your face, so this cleanser will last a while. It’s worth every penny!

Andalou Naturals Renewal Cream – This cream has a clean, crisp citrus smell and a little goes a long way. It is also a very affordable cream! I use it before going to bed at night then just a little in the morning if needed.

These are both the best things I’ve ever found for my skin. I would encourage anyone with acne prone skin to try the natural way. (The links I’ve provided for both of these products will have the list of ingredients for each.) Our bodies aren’t meant to process all the harsh chemicals we apply and ingest on a daily basis. I always found the chemical-filled products to be cheaper and more readily available(often thinking I’d run in Walmart and grab some paper towels and some face cleanser since I was already there…), but that doesn’t mean it was the best!

Do what’s best and pay attention to what’s in the stuff you use and eat.

P.S. If you like to shop at T.J. Maxx, they often carry natural skincare products for a fraction of the retail cost. If you are like me, you can use Google right there in the store to research a product before you buy! Type in the product name and add the word “reviews” to the end to find out what others are saying about it after using it.

Well, I’m off to enjoy this Saturday with my little! Have a good weekend ladies!

Will have have to check these out! I’ve spent quite a lot of money before on natural products but felt they didn’t really clean a whole lot. So, I’ve typically used just water as well… Never wanted to put too harsh of chemicals on my face to irritate my sensitive skin. 🙂

Hey, IG friend! I’ve been meaning to stop by your blog for some time but since I don’t blog on my phone and I don’t IG on my laptop and have the memory of a goldfish, these things take time haha. I’ve never heard of this product but will look out for it! Good to know that it’s at TJMaxx! Hope you’re having a good day! XO

I’ve never tried natural skincare products, surprisingly! But I have been wanting to for a while. I know that they are usually more expensive 😦 I’ve been wanting to try the Burt’s Bees products and such like that, but still haven’t lol
